General information about voting on Salmon River’s school budget District residents will be asked to vote on the budget on May 16, 2023. The public is invited to attend any of the scheduled work sessions to provide feedback about the budget. The Board of Education and District Administration will work on the budget over the next few months. Work on the 2023-24 Salmon River Central School District budget began at the NovemBoard of Education meeting with the adoption of the budget calendar. At the February board meeting a preliminary budget will be presented. The plan is updated annually prior to creating the budget for board and taxpayer approval. The 2023-24 long range plan was presented covering budget assumptions as well as significant revenue and expenditure analysis. The Board will set the budget on April 18th.
